Coronation Weekend

A busy Coronation Weekend for the band playing at the Coronation Party In The Park in Flitton on Sunday afternoon 6/5/23, at the Coronation Civic service at St Andrew’s Church in the evening and then in the Kings Arms Gardens on the Monday afternoon.

Civic Service

The band recently performed for the Mayor’s Civic Service Ceremony at St Andrew’s Church Ampthill where we were immensely proud to see our principal cornet player Louis Sherry receive an award for his service to the community over many years.

Christmas Concert

Our annual Christmas concert with the Parkside Singers will be on 11th December, 2.30 pm at Parkside Hall. Tickets are £8 available on the door and all proceeds are used to support the Band and Parkside Singers costs of rehearsals, music and future concerts.

New Uniform

The Band have recently purchased new outdoor jackets to keep everyone warm and dry whilst performing outdoors during the cold autumn and winter months. Here they are looking resplendent on Remembrance Day 2022.

Remembrance Sunday

The Band were proud to support both the Ampthill & Flitwick 2022 Remembrance Day parades and ceremonies playing marches, hymns and background music. Principal cornet player – Louis Sherry, played the Last Post and Reveille at the Ampthill Cenotaph.
